Hi! I’m Kaitlyn Deann.

A passionate writer since childhood, I penned four novels from ages 11 to 16, and consider them crucial to my journey as a writer.

My debut, THE WITCHES’ SLEEP, was published when I was 17. It won the 2013 Readers’ Favorite Annual Book Contest gold medal in the Fiction – Paranormal genre.

I started a novella series in 2018, previously called The Chronicles of Forgotten Countrymen. In 2022, I signed with Chartus.X Publishing to rebrand the story into full-length novels. In 2023, the first installment of The Forgotten Countrymen series was released. UNRAVEL is available in ebook, paperback, or hardback format!

When I’m writing, my soul bleeds into the story. My hope is to be able to connect with people through these stories in ways that may otherwise feel impossible. I like to say that I write dark stories in order to better showcase the brilliance of the light.
